April & May in Review

Last April, I embarked on the journey of attaining my CPA. I'm not going to sugarcoat it-- the process was painful.

The CPA exam is made up of four sections. I took one section per quarter. Every time I took an exam, I'd walk out of the test center thinking I failed.

This April, I took my last test, and in May I found out that I had passed!

I am so thankful to have these exams out of the way. All by God's grace.

After a year, I finally have my weekends and sanity back, and it is wonderful.

In other April news. . .

My friends and I decided to be spontaneous (which we never are) and visit the Griffith Observatory. I found out that I weigh 6 pounds on Pluto and 250 on Jupiter, yikes.

Another Disneyland trip with the girls. Just sitting in the nose of the monorail on our way to the park.

This picture cracks me up. Making fish faces on Space Mountain was not a good idea.

In May. . .

My mom and I made these cheesecakes for my brother's baseball banquet. I think they are our best looking desserts ever. And they tasted as good as they looked! #bakingwin

Also in May, I made another trip to Disneyland for work.

R2D2 paid us a visit and then we went on a scavenger hunt throughout Disneyland. We were given a list of trivia questions that could be answered by exploring the park. One of the questions was, 'Where Kala watches Tarzan, what is the time on the clock?'

In case you're wondering, the clock in Tarzan's tree house reads 9:00.

Baking again, this time for a family friend's wedding. It was a sweet and small affair with a cookie bar at the reception.

And with that,
April and May are all wrapped up.

Onto June and summer!
